Bicoastal.com was originally launched in 1995 as a personal website where Bicoastal.com LLC Principal Chris Kilbourne could expand and hone his website design and development skills. That same year, Chris–a journalist and lawyer by training–was asked to help build and then manage the first website for the Bergen Record newspaper in New Jersey. Chris later moved down to Philly.com, where he managed the websites for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News.
In 2001, Chris returned to Connecticut to help design and manage the subscription websites at Business & Legal Resources (BLR), where he remained until 2010. While there, Chris helped grow BLR’s online products into the company’s largest revenue source. He also managed email newsletters with a combined circulation of more than 360,000, helped develop the company’s intranet, and planned and implemented the company’s social media strategy, including creating pages and groups on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
Over the years, Chris was asked to build or improve websites for friends, businesses, and social organizations. As the demand for his services continued to grow, Chris officially incorporated Bicoastal.com LLC in 2009.
Bicoastal currently provides website design, internet and social media marketing, search engine optimization, communications, and public relations services to business of all sizes throughout Connecticut.
